2. Summary
We try to collect only the information needed to operate our website, provide our games, support beta testing, improve performance, fix bugs, respond to messages, and provide optional rewarded ads where used.
Goo Dash is intended for all ages, including children and families. Goo Dash is free to play. If Goo Dash includes ads, rewarded ads are optional and are intended to offer bonus rewards, such as doubling coins. They are not required to play the game.
We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent. We do not collect payment card information directly; purchases, if any, are handled by the applicable app store or payment provider.
3. Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Name or display name, if you provide it.
- Email address, if you contact us, join a beta list, submit feedback, or request support.
- Feedback, bug reports, survey responses, screenshots, screen recordings, device details, and messages you send to us.
- Any other information you voluntarily include when communicating with us.
Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
4. Information Collected Automatically
When you use our website or games, we or our service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as:
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, country or region, and general device settings.
- Gameplay and app usage events, such as stage progress, checkpoints, rewards, customization unlocks, crashes, errors, loading times, and performance data.
- IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring pages, and basic website analytics.
- Advertising identifiers, such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, only where permitted by platform rules, user settings, consent choices, and applicable law.
- Ad interaction data, such as whether an optional rewarded ad was viewed and whether a reward was granted.
We use this information to operate our services, understand performance, improve levels and game balance, prevent abuse, and confirm that optional rewards work correctly.
5. Information From App Stores and Platforms
Google Play, Apple App Store, and other platforms may provide us with aggregated or limited information about installs, crashes, store listing performance, ratings, reviews, purchases, refunds, regions, and device types. These platforms process information under their own privacy policies and developer terms.
If you make an in-app purchase in a future release, payment information is processed by the app store or payment provider. We do not receive your full payment card number.
6. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and improve our website, games, beta tests, and support services.
- To respond to emails, support requests, bug reports, and feedback.
- To test level difficulty, controls, performance, rewards, ads, and game balance.
- To detect, investigate, and fix bugs, crashes, fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To provide optional rewarded ads and confirm that in-game rewards are delivered.
- To comply with app store rules, legal obligations, tax requirements, accounting obligations, and lawful requests.
- To send updates about beta testing or our games when you have asked to receive them or when needed for service-related communication.
7. Ads, Rewarded Ads, and Analytics
Some of our games may use ads or analytics services. Goo Dash may include optional rewarded ads that players can choose to watch for bonus rewards, such as extra coins or doubled rewards. These ads are not required to play.
For Goo Dash, because the intended audience includes children and families, we aim to use ad SDKs and ad settings that are appropriate for children and comply with Google Play Families requirements. Goo Dash should only show ads from Google Play Families Self-Certified Ads SDKs or other ad sources permitted by applicable platform rules. When we do not use a neutral age screen, we treat users as children or users of unknown age for advertising purposes and avoid behavioral or personalized ads for those users.
For Goo Dash on Android, our goal is to avoid use of the Android Advertising ID for children and users of unknown age, including by removing the Advertising ID permission where required for the app build.
Ad and analytics partners may process limited device information, IP address, app events, ad views, and similar data to provide ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, limit repetitive ads, and confirm rewards. Where required, we will request consent or honor platform privacy controls before using advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.
On Apple platforms, tracking that requires App Tracking Transparency permission will only occur if the user grants permission. On Android, use of advertising identifiers will follow Google Play requirements and user settings.
8. Goo Dash Families Ads and Monetization Commitments
Because Goo Dash is intended for all ages, including children and families, our goal is for all monetization and advertising in Goo Dash to follow Google Play Families Ads and Monetization requirements, applicable children’s privacy laws, and applicable industry standards.
For children and users of unknown age, Goo Dash should:
- Use only Google Play Families Self-Certified Ads SDKs or other ad sources permitted by Google Play policy.
- Avoid interest-based advertising, behavioral advertising, and remarketing.
- Show ad content that is appropriate for children.
- Keep ads clearly distinguishable from game content.
- Avoid deceptive, shocking, emotionally manipulative, or overly aggressive commercial tactics.
- Avoid ad walls, offerwalls, immersive ads that are hard to distinguish from gameplay, or ads designed to cause accidental clicks.
- Avoid interstitial ads immediately on app launch.
- Avoid multiple ad placements on one screen.
- Use optional rewarded ads only where the player can choose whether to watch the ad for a bonus reward.
- Make rewarded or opt-in ads closeable after the time required by Google Play Families policy when the ad interrupts normal gameplay.
- Clearly distinguish any future real-money purchases from virtual game coins or rewards.
Goo Dash is currently designed as a free-to-play game. Optional rewarded ads may be used for bonus rewards, such as doubling coins, but they are not required to play.
9. Third-Party Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers to help operate our website and games. These providers may include app stores, hosting providers, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, advertising networks, beta testing tools, form providers, email providers, and customer support tools.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, comply with law, prevent fraud, or as described in their own privacy policies. We are responsible for reviewing our app store disclosures and keeping them consistent with our actual data practices.
10. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following limited situations:
- Service providers: With vendors that help us provide hosting, analytics, crash reporting, beta testing, ads, support, email, or security.
- App stores and platforms: With Google, Apple, or other platforms as needed to operate store listings, testing, purchases, reviews, crash reports, and compliance tools.
- Legal and safety: If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, users, our services, or others.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your direction or consent: When you ask us to share information or consent to a specific use.
We do not sell personal information for money.
11. Cookies and Website Technologies
Our website may use cookies, log files, or similar technologies to operate the site, understand traffic, protect security, remember preferences, and improve content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some site features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
12. Children and Families
Goo Dash is intended for all ages, including children and families. Pantheon Frontlines and other services may have different intended audiences as described in their app store listings.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the age required by local law, without appropriate parental consent. Goo Dash does not require players to create an account, provide a name, provide an email address, use chat, share precise location, use the camera, use the microphone, or provide payment card information directly to us.
For Goo Dash, we aim to make content that may be seen by children appropriate for children. We also aim to use child-appropriate ad settings and SDKs permitted for the intended audience. If we ever add features or SDKs that are not appropriate for children, we will either make the entire app compliant for children and users of unknown age or implement a neutral age screen so non-child-safe features are not shown to children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child provided personal information to us, please contact us at [email protected]. We will review the request and delete the information when required.
13. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to operate our games, provide support, improve performance, maintain business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Examples:
- Support emails and feedback may be retained while needed to respond, track issues, or improve the game.
- Crash logs, analytics, and beta testing data may be retained for a limited period to diagnose issues and improve releases.
- Legal, accounting, and compliance records may be retained longer where required.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or aggregate it where practical.
14. Data Deletion and Your Choices
You may contact us at [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant request, such as the email address you used to contact us and the game or beta test involved.
You may also have choices through your device or platform settings, such as:
- Resetting or limiting use of your mobile advertising identifier.
- Turning off personalized ads through device or platform settings.
- Using Apple App Tracking Transparency prompts where applicable.
- Deleting the app from your device.
- Managing cookies through your browser settings.
Some data may be retained when required by law, needed for security, or maintained by app stores or third-party providers under their own policies.
15. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
